Description
The small size of the zebra danio, no more than two inches, makes them well suited to a community aquarium. Zebra danios are peaceful fish that get along with most tankmates, however, they will nip the fins of some species.
In general, a 5 gallon fish tank will be big enough for 6 to 7 danios, although a 10 gallon tank is ideal. Alternatively, you can keep three or four small zebrafish in a 5 gallon tank.
Temperature: 16°C - 28°C. pH: 6.5—7.5 · General Hardness: 50—150 ppm. These fish are a hardy, undemanding fish suitable for a tropical or temperate community tanks.
