Overview
The Boyu DS-1000 is a submersible water pump for freshwater and marine applications, including aquarium water changes, circulation and compatible filtration or fountain setups. Its bottom-intake design draws water from near the base, while the permanent-magnet brushless motor drives water through the connected outlet.

Installation and Use
Maximum flow and maximum head are separate performance limits, not simultaneous operating values. Actual flow depends on lift height, tubing and connected equipment. Check the pump's rating label and instructions before installation.
- Use compatible tubing and secure the outlet connection.
- Install at the manufacturer's required water depth and keep the intake clear of debris.
- Do not run dry. A bottom intake does not mean the pump can operate without the required water coverage.
- Keep plugs and electrical connections dry and use a drip loop.
- Disconnect power before placing hands in the water, moving the pump or performing maintenance.
Cleaning and Care
Inspect and clean the intake and impeller regularly according to the manufacturer's instructions. Remove accumulated debris and check tubing for blockages. Do not use household soap or detergents, and never lift the pump by its power cord.
