Overview
The Boyu DS-3500 is a submersible water pump for freshwater and marine applications, including aquarium water changes, circulation and compatible filtration or fountain installations. Its bottom-intake design draws water from near the base, making it useful for water-transfer tasks when operated at the manufacturer's required water depth.

Installation and Use
Maximum flow and maximum head are separate performance limits, not simultaneous operating values. Actual flow depends on lift height, tubing and connected equipment. Check the rating label, outlet size and installation instructions before connecting the pump.
- Use compatible tubing and secure all connections.
- Maintain the manufacturer's required water coverage and keep the intake free of debris.
- Do not run dry. A bottom intake does not mean the pump can operate without adequate water coverage.
- Position the outlet to provide water movement appropriate for your aquarium's inhabitants.
- Keep plugs and electrical connections dry and use a drip loop.
- Disconnect power before placing hands in the water, moving the pump or performing maintenance.
Cleaning and Care
Inspect and clean the intake and impeller according to the manufacturer's instructions. Remove accumulated debris and check tubing for blockages. Do not use household soap or detergents, and never lift the pump by its power cord.
