The Eheim Air Pump 400 supplies air through two adjustable outlets for aquarium aeration and compatible air-driven accessories. Its listed total air output is 400 L/h, divided between two outlets rated at 200 L/h each, giving you control over delivery to two connection points.

Setup and Use
- Place or hang the pump securely outside the aquarium in a dry, ventilated location. Never submerge it.
- Connect compatible airline tubing securely between each outlet and the chosen diffuser or accessory.
- Protect against back-siphoning using the manufacturer's recommended pump position and correctly oriented check valves where required.
- Adjust airflow to suit each connected accessory and the needs of your livestock.
- Check the supplied unit's electrical label for voltage, frequency and plug compatibility before use. Keep electrical connections dry.
Care and Maintenance
Disconnect power before servicing. Inspect airline tubing for kinks, leaks and blockages, and clean diffusers as directed when buildup restricts airflow. Keep ventilation openings clear and inspect the rubber feet, hanging hook and connections regularly.
Important Notes
Use alongside suitable aquarium filtration, regular water testing and water changes. Aeration does not replace biological filtration or guarantee a specific dissolved-oxygen level.
