Description
Hikari Tropical Micro Wafers
Hikari Tropical Micro Wafers are miniature wafer food for suitable tropical aquarium fish. The wafers initially float before sinking, offering feeding opportunities at different levels of the aquarium while you observe which fish receive each portion.
Food Features
- Brand: Hikari
- Food format: miniature wafers with floating-then-sinking characteristics
- Intended for: suitable tropical aquarium fish
- Includes marine and vegetable protein sources.
- Contains spirulina and astaxanthin.
Check the selected package for net weight, wafer dimensions, full ingredients and nutritional analysis. Match the food to your fish's species, mouth size and life stage; a community aquarium may need more than one food type.
Feeding Guide
- Follow the feeding amount and frequency printed on the current package.
- Offer small portions and observe consumption before adding more.
- Check that fish feeding at different levels can access the food.
- Make sure slower or less dominant fish receive a portion.
- Account for other foods offered as part of the daily ration.
- Remove uneaten food and reduce portions if leftovers remain.
Colour and condition vary with genetics, overall nutrition, water quality and care. Avoid overfeeding in an attempt to accelerate colour development or growth.
Storage and Handling
- Keep tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Use clean, dry utensils and prevent aquarium water from entering the package.
- Follow the label's storage instructions and use-by date.
For ornamental fish feeding only. Continue regular water testing, water changes and filter maintenance.
