Malawi/Victoria Buffer is a blend of carbonate salts formulated to raise carbonate hardness (KH), buffering capacity and pH for aquariums housing cichlids that require these water conditions. Its listed buffering range is pH 7.8–8.4.

Listed Dosing Guidance
The listing gives a dose of 6 g, approximately one level teaspoon, per 40–80 litres (10–20 US gallons) of water each day until the desired pH is attained and maintained. Thereafter, use as required to maintain pH, typically no more than once every two to three weeks.
Confirm these directions against the current package before use. The dose range is not an instruction to use the strongest concentration in every aquarium. Measure accurately and base treatment on actual water volume and water-test results.
Application and Monitoring
- Test pH, KH and GH before treatment and confirm suitable targets for your fish.

- Retest after treatment as directed and avoid sudden changes in water chemistry.
