Description
Size: Typically 1.5–2 inches (4–5 cm) in length. Color: Bright pink body with lighter pink or white horizontal stripes; fins are often translucent or lightly colored. Lifespan: 3–5 years with proper care. Behavior: Active and playful, they are shoaling fish that thrive in groups of 6 or more.
It belongs to the family Cyprinidae. It originates from the northeastern Indian peninsula, and lives in streams or even stagnant water. The water has a pH of 6.5 to 7.5 and the temperature ranges from 18 to 24°C
