Directions for Use
Check the current bottle label before dosing. The listed directions are:
- Shake well before use.
- Turn off UV sterilizers and ozone equipment as directed by the manufacturer. Follow the current label for when to restart them.
- Initial dose: 5 mL per 40 L (10 US gallons) of aquarium water.
- Maintenance dose: 5 mL per 80 L (20 US gallons) when adding livestock or following disruption of the biological filter, according to the label.
- Calculate dosing using the aquarium's actual water volume and measure carefully.
Use Alongside Routine Maintenance
Pristine is not a substitute for removing excess food and debris, maintaining filtration, performing suitable water changes or testing water quality. Results depend on aquarium conditions; do not expect instant removal of accumulated waste.
- Continue monitoring ammonia, nitrite and other relevant water parameters.
- Maintain appropriate circulation and aeration.
