Red Asiatic Snakehead is a striking freshwater predator known for its vibrant reddish coloration, elongated body, and active hunting behaviour. At 12–14 cm, this juvenile fish can continue to grow considerably depending on the species and conditions.
It is a carnivorous and territorial fish and should be housed with appropriately sized tank mates. Smaller fish may be viewed as prey. A secure aquarium lid is essential, as snakeheads are powerful jumpers and can breathe atmospheric air.
