RS Aquarium Heater

Set up temperature control for your aquarium with the RS Heater, available in five wattage options. Choose the appropriate version for your aquarium and check the actual water temperature with a separate aquarium thermometer.

Available Wattages

  • 25 W
  • 50 W
  • 100 W
  • 150 W
  • 200 W

Listed Features

  • Product type: adjustable aquarium heater
  • Listed temperature adjustment range: 18–32°C
  • Construction: glass heater tube

The adjustment range is not a recommended temperature range for every species or a guarantee of temperature accuracy. Select a temperature appropriate for your aquarium inhabitants.

Choosing the Right Wattage

Check the manufacturer's tank-size guidance for the selected wattage. Heating requirements depend on water volume, room temperature, the desired temperature increase and aquarium conditions. Supported tank capacities and heater dimensions are not confirmed here.

Installation and Use

  • Read the supplied instructions and verify the unit's voltage, frequency and plug before connecting it.
  • Confirm suitability for your water type and inhabitants; do not assume universal compatibility with marine, brackish or turtle setups.
  • Follow the marked water-level limits, permitted mounting orientation and immersion instructions for the supplied model.
  • Position securely with suitable water circulation, keeping the heater clear of substrate and decorations as instructed.
  • Observe the manufacturer's waiting period before switching on after installation.
  • Use a separate thermometer to monitor temperature rather than relying only on the dial setting.
  • Keep electrical connections dry and use a drip loop on the power cable.

Maintenance and Precautions

  • Disconnect the heater before water changes or maintenance and allow it to cool for the period specified by the manufacturer before handling or removal.
  • Do not operate outside its specified water-level limits or run it dry.
  • Inspect the glass, cable and seals regularly; stop using the heater if damaged.
  • Follow the manufacturer's cleaning instructions and avoid sudden temperature changes to the glass.

Explosion-proof construction and automatic over-temperature protection have not been verified for the supplied models. Follow all manufacturer precautions regardless of any listed protective features.
