Description
When choosing other fish for your pond, keep in mind that sturgeon are carnivores and very small fish will get eaten. Larger fish that will not fit in their mouths, like koi carp, will be perfect companions.
Temperature: Sturgeons prefer cooler water, with an ideal temperature range of 10°C to 20°C (50°F to 68°F). pH: They thrive in slightly alkaline water, with a pH range of 7.0 to 8.5. Hardness: Moderately hard water, with a general hardness (GH) of 5-15 dGH, is ideal.
